23Krome is a Miami-based interdisciplinary collective founded by Trish Gutierrez and Nicole Pedraza, and now composed of Trish, Nicole, and visual storyteller Diago León Lang (Oh_Dingi).
Drawing from our distinct Nicaraguan, Cuban, and Puerto Rican heritages, we meld artistic disciplines - dance, visual art, and technology - that speaks to our unique yet shared experience in the city of Miami. Our work explores vulnerability, identity, parallels between nature and humanity, and migration. We utilize technology in our performances and workshops to explore the intersection of digital and physical realities as a metaphor of escapism, lost memory, and lost landscapes. As young Latine people, we are actively trying to understand our generational histories and bring authentic Miami stories to life through a contemporary lens.
Pedraza and Gutierrez were awarded Locust Project’s 2023 WaveMaker Grant. With the grant funds, they created an immersive dance/projection experience titled Quiero Bailar Contigo that premiered at the Deering Estate in April 2024. Together, they also worked on the environmental dance film “Caracoles En Cemento” which was an official selection for Subculture Film Fest, Festival Videodanza de Puerto Rico, Screen Dance Miami, and 19º Festival Internacional De Cine De Rengo Chile. They have also taught at Locust Project's Knight Digital Innovation Lounge + Lab workshop series.
Diago brings imaginative clarity to the collective’s narrative-driven performances and interactive works—contributing storyboards, worldbuilding, and visual direction across mediums. With a background in both traditional and digital illustration, his aesthetic blends intensity with intimacy, humor with sincerity, and a deep love for the surreal.
Together, they prioritize building community through artistic creation and inspiring other BIPOC individuals to experiment with the intersection of art and technology.

After witnessing the diversity of arts and technical applications, she's committed herself to learning how to integrate multiple disciplines into an interactive art form. She makes use of free software (Blender, Touchdesigner, DaVinci Resolve) and easily accessible tech.
Diago León Lang (Oh_Dingi) was born in La Ciudad Habana in 1999 and immigrated to Miami as a child. He creates narrative-driven visual projects across animation, drawing, and artist books, exploring solipsism, economic precarity, and the deconstruction of identity under Western norms. Whether through characters drifting in pixelated oceans or zines unraveling mental collapse, he builds spaces where others might see their own reflections.
Lately, he's been exploring multidisciplinary and community-based art through collaboration, working with musicians to enhance their performances with concept art. He is a 2025 Miami Light Project Here and Now commissioned artist, co-creating a performance on identity with his partner, Nicole Pedraza. In December 2024, he was commissioned by The Peace Studio to paint a mural at Pridelines main location. The mural represents the themes of community and trust, inspired by gestural drawings from movement workshops led by Nicole featuring musicians Dani Amaro and Diego Melgar and tech artist Trish Gutierrez.
